PUTTING PARISHES FIRST…
1: Discovering the heart of God
As part of Daily Offices: prayers to discern our place in God's mission
Regular monitoring and review of worship liturgy so that remains relevant to the community
Investigate and Establish a Messy Church programme
2: Growing Disciples
Develop a system of oversight and care to members of the congregation
Envision and encourage congregation, through training, to be bold in doing God's work
Start a new House Group aimed at seekers and questioners
3: Reaching New Generations
Start a Lads' and Dads' Breakfast Club
Continue to develop links with schools and uniformed organisations
Encourage some of our Junior Children to become Servers / Acolytes
4: Transforming Communities
Initiate a programme of Parish engagement - 'what can the church do for you?'
Help the fringe to re-engage with the church - a 'Friends of St. Agatha's' for those who can no longer get to church; baptism families; wedding couples etc.
Instigate a 'Knock and Pray and letter ministry'
5: Practicing Generosity
Continue to support overseas projects (Kibera)
Undertake a gift day and stewardship campaign ensure financial sustainability
